What have we been up to?
Welcome back after a much needed rest!
Our topic until half term is 'Europe and Tourism'. Within this topic, we will be exploring and looking at tourism in the Graian Region of the Alps and comparing it to the Amalfi Coast. After half term we will be studying the Ancient Egyptians!
Our topic until half term is 'Europe and Tourism'. Within this topic, we will be exploring and looking at tourism in the Graian Region of the Alps and comparing it to the Amalfi Coast. After half term we will be studying the Ancient Egyptians!
In English we will be looking to develop and grow as writers. We are currently using our class text of 'Gregory Cool' to write our own stories which include written speech. When we have finished this unit our next is a unit looking at writing biographies!
In Maths this term we are looking at the topics of Multiplication and Division, Length and Perimeter, Fractions and Decimals. We are also focussing on the 8 times table.
In PSHE we are using a new scheme called 'Jigsaw'. Within our first unit we explored setting personal goals, self-identity and worth, positivity in challenges, rules, rights and responsibilities, rewards and consequences, making responsible choices and seeing things from others’ perspectives. Within the next two units we will be looking at our dreams and goals and what it takes to be healthy.
